Linux File Recovery allows you to recover deleted files (undelete, unerase) with ease. If you have accidentally formatted or deleted your Linux partition, or corrupted it in some way, then you can use the Complete Recovery option. If the partitions cannot be found at all then the Partition Recovery option can be used to recover them. Linux File Recovery is a complete data recovery solution for Linux data.

Linux File Recovery can search for data using the recovered file system, or in RAW mode, which locates files byte by byte using the file headers. The former is faster and enables file names to be recovered. Linux File Recovery displays an expandable folder tree and you can browse the recovered files and even preview some common file types to see what they are.

RAW mode may enable files to be recovered that would not otherwise be recoverable, but the file names will be lost and you will need to examine each file to determine what it is.

Linux File Recovery is a native Windows program and must be run under Microsoft Windows. It is ideal for recovering data from a dual-boot system, or when the Linux hard drive can be temporarily attached to a Windows system while data recovery is being performed.
